Description:

An odd looking fungi, growing from dead bark.

Habitat:

Seen in Selva Verde Lodge, Costa Rica.
Selva Verde Lodge is in fragile tropical rainforest, located in the midst of the 500 acre Sarapiqui Rainforest Preservation Area in the lush Caribbean lowlands of northeastern Costa Rica.

thanks Neil. I don't think so as the stinkhorns I found had a smell and a sticky top. This one was quite dry. But then, what do I know!
