Field Notes

Description:

A small spider, either white or various shades of yellow. Usually < 2cm. body.

Habitat:

Found throughout North America resting on flowers in open fields.

Notes:

Cryptic coloring allows the spider to virtually disappear as it sits motionless on a flower, preying on insects feeding at the flower.
