Habitat:

poor grassland, former cultivated, calcareous soils

Notes:

Near 600 indiv. flowering in de meadow;
Siamese twins on the last photo :)

These little orchids made me laugh out loud! Very nice spotting.
Wonderful shots. A real treat! Have you ever seen O.scolopax being pollinated? I shall be watching your mission with interest. There are certainly a couple of others who have Portuguese orchid spottings.
