Description:

Sleek frog 4" - 5" snout to vent length. Green or brown with conspicuous dark spots on back and sides.

Habitat:

Common around most bodies of permanent water and vernal pools.

Notes:

Similar Northern Leopard Frog has dark spots that are generally edged with a lighter ring.
