Notes:

This stunning katydid was perched atop a concrete pylon just outside the door of Tucson International Airport.

Thanks. They do indeed feed on creosote. There is also a Creosote Bush Grasshopper that has similar markings.
Beautiful fellow. If he lives on Creosote, I wish I would have seen him. I was fascinated with the Creosote (see: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/231459856/fullscreen). He would be well camouflaged.
