Thanks MaryEvans2. I think the interesting thing about Meerkat babies is that they have the exact proportions as an adult, so if you see a picture of one alone, it's hard to tell if it's a little baby or a full grown adult. I can't find a word for this phenomenon but I wish I could. Most animal babies look so different from their parents -- I wonder if there's a word for that?
