Field Notes

Description:

Large and chunky owl with prominent 'ear' tufts.

Habitat:

This one in a densely forested park within the suburbs.

Notes:

Found the owl by listening to a group of crows that was harassing it. It was high enough in the tree that an unobstructed shot was difficult. The additional pictures show some different views, including one of the angry crows.
