Field Notes

Description:

Large brown mammals with thick, dark hair on necks and face. Rear is light colored. The last image is of a cow (female) with a tracking collar. The fence was between us and the elk until we were able to walk further down the road to the open area where they were located.

Habitat:

Hillside in Rocky Mountain National Park
