Description:

Leathery armor shell, long claws for digging.

Habitat:

Scrublands, grasslands, open prairies, rainforests, semi-deserts.

Notes:

This is a nine-banded armadillo. The armadillo has many nicknames, including; Hillbilly speed bump, possum on a half-shell, and poor man's pork!
