Description:

Normal size and shape. Taken at night next to a street lamp.

Habitat:

Tropical dry forest in NW Costa Rica 7 weeks into the 6 month dry season.

Maybe you could figure out the species or if it is just a color morph. However, here in Costa, the brown ladybugs are more prevalent than the red ones....or at least the last few months
I live in north central arizona in high desert in between phoenix and flagstaff. My wife just brought one of those brown ladybugs inside and we have seen a few others as well.
