The larvae of dragonflies are aquatic. We call them mudeyes. They molt as a larva several times, maybe five. The final molt produces an exuvia like this http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/8307390 and the winged adult will not molt again.
Crocothemis servilia makes more sense for India.
