Field Notes

Habitat:

fields, shrubs

Notes:

This was one of those spottings, when I thought I was taking the picture of something, which turn out to be something quite different. After going back to the park several time and collecting a specimen (which I don't really like to do) Bugguide gave me an ID and apparently it was a first record for the US of this wasp from Latin America and the Caribbean.
