Field Notes

Description:

A large grey-brown male huntsman about 100mm across(tip to tip), with bristly legs. Could not see the underside of the abdomen to do a proper identification.

Habitat:

eucalyptus forests

Notes:

This male "hunty" was in our bedroom !! - we let him stay for a couple of days hoping he'd clean out the occasional annoying fly. He then got put out near a gum tree in the garden.
