The historical marker gives a lot of information about the oak tree in general.
It is a huge beautiful tree. I love all these old oaks that are around central Texas. The photo where it's lit up really shows the size of the tree and how the people of the community honor the tree and its history, especially around the Christmas season.
Fantastic tree! I like the 3rd or 4th photo best as lead spotting photo.
