Description:

Peregrine falcons are Great Hunters . They can reach speeds of over 175 miles a Hour while in a "Stoop" (Dive for prey) They reach speeds so fast that they have Special baffles in their Nostrils.To assist them in Breathing.Their foods include Mammals,Birds,,& Insects. This young Bird was injured & a Certified Bird Rescuer was Called to rehabilitate . The eerie (Nest) that this Bird came from was a 17 story Bldg Downtown Battle Creek,Michigan . As you can See this Bird was Also Banded.. These Falcons have Made a Amazing Recovery & Brought back from very Low numbers..
