Field Notes

Description:

The tree trunk has been split, probably when the tree was younger, so that it has a double trunk. The fruits are small spiked ball shapes that have turned brown in winter. They can be seen on the branches on the tree and covering the ground around it.

Habitat:

Marshlands Conservancy woods.

Notes:

Also called redgum, sapgum.
