Description:

Low-growing plant with six, purple to green leaves with prominent trichomes that sting. Leaves are 2.5 cm across. The flowers can be seen at my other spotting: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/8816199

Habitat:

Along trail in partial shade at Daley Ranch

Notes:

"It is native to the coastal mountains of Baja California and Southern California as far north as the San Francisco Bay Area. It grows on dry mountain slopes, including areas that have recently burned, and chaparral and woodlands habitats." - Wikipedia

I keep forgetting to add the size :) Each leaf was only an inch across.
