Description:
Purplish pink five-petalled flowers arranged in clusters on an erect plant about 30cm high. The plant has slender stems with bright green triangular leaves arranged opposite each other at nodes. The plant has long inter-nodes and is seen frequently growing tangled amongst other "weeds".
Habitat:
open schlerophyll forests, open grasslands
Notes:
These flowers are a common sight this time of the year in eucalyptus forests. they are fairly insignificant-looking but add a cheerful touch to an otherwise dry forest floor.
