bayucca, you'd be wellcome here. You have seen nothing yet. The butterflies I post here are just but a fraction of what I see everyday. But they are extremely hard to photograph, because they almost never stop. Yesterday I counted up to 12 species feeding in one blossoming hydrangea. I'll try to get a picture of that tree.
Yes, indeed, anything but common, BUT beautiful!! I am VERY jealous and thinking about moving to Brazil ;-)...

I knew why I shouldn't name it Amphione, the most common one. It is actually Dismorphia astyocha, female.
Pieridae. It is a Mimic-White. Need my books to get closer later. I am not sure if it is Dismorphia amphione. That's quite a tricky group.
