The shape of the body looks like a large mosquito, but the front legs say mantis. I am confused...

I don't think we have anything like this guy here in Miami, FL. But it is definitely a true bug. The pose of the front legs reminds me a lot of our Milkweed Assassin Bug. So if I was a betting man I would bet this is something in the Family Reduviidae - Assassin Bugs, even maybe subfamily Emesinae - Thread-legged Bugs, they are a little mantis like.
