Yes! I will dream of Brazilian butterflies, big ones, white and blue ones and they are just posing for me and only me. Sitting on wonderful flowers. I have absolutely no hurry to install my gear, have a beer, they are still sitting on the same flower and I make some wonderful shots of them. Open wing, closed wings, again an open wing shot, just for me... Puff: 05.30 am and I am looking to your wonderful shots...
Hi, hi... I never told you that Natural History is an easy job... White Morpho? I think you had one shot of it from the side. Hmm, lot of blue? Depending on the angulation and perspective you have a black butterfly and a second later one with wonderful blue glimpse. You you better go now for looking for a open wing shot and I go to bed... I don't know!!! They are allways flying, never stop, and I am getting mad trying to photograph them!!! All I can see are glimpses of colour. You would be crazy with the butterflies here. There is a gigantic white one that never, never, NEVER stops!!!
Tricky one due to no access to the open forewings. There are 2 species in your area: Epiphile orea (orea) and Epiphile hubneri. No it's your job! Go out and find me one with open wings, then I tell you which one it is!
