Description:

Adult light-morph

Habitat:

Observed hawk in open rocky terrain, big sagebrush.

Notes:

Observed gliding about 200 m above ground. A raven was flying close by and was harassed by the rough-legged hawk. Winter resident in Upper Gunnison Basin.
