Field Notes

Description:

This is an herb 10 - 40 cm tall, erect to kneeling, stems hairy, sap milky. The Flowers are pale green to reddish green, minute, in compact clusters to 1.8cm long, mostly 1 per node and blooms all year.

Habitat:

Wet to seasonally dry regions. Often a street weed in open sunny habitats. Tropical Dry forest in NW Costa Rica 7 weeks into the 6 month dry season at seas level.
