Field Notes

Description:

As the common name, Wax Plant, suggests, the flowers are waxy but soft. My plant is a very slow growing vine that lives in partial sun/shade. The flowers a soft pink color. This plant has flowered for the second time this year, in the same spot as the previous year - I am glad it did not 'dead head' this vine.

Hoya bella I believe. We used to sell a lot of these at a flower shop I once worked at. My mother-in-law keeps one as a houseplant.
I wonder if that is a relation to my milk weed - http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/8304807
