Description:

Easily mistaken for the Pink Anemonefish (a.k.a Skunkfish).

They feed on zooplankton and algae, and grow to a length of about 10cm.

Habitat:

Found in pairs or groups, often living with the Magnificent Anemone (Heteractis magnifica), as seen in this series of pictures. Also known to live with two other types of sea anemone. They are widespread in the Asia-Pacific region, at depths of 3 to 20m.

Hi Blogie. Yes color is more orange than A. perideraion. Managed to spot one of these as well in one of our recent dives which will post soon. Also thought they were A. perideraion till I got to read some fact sheets of both species. Also just posted a spotting of the A. perederaion :-)

Hi Blogie. Believe this is an Orange skunk clownfish (A. sandaracinos). This is missing the distinct vertical, stripe between the head and the rest of the body A. perideraion is known for. :-)
