@ Daniele.. It was after all a Striped Burrowing Frog.. A friend just confirmed it! :)
I think they are the same species.. and I like the Litoria christiana.. But I am more likely to find a new insect. :-)
I'm certainly not 100% sure either Christiane, this is just the closest match I could find mid-tropics. Do you think the frog in your other spotting is the same species? Anyway I swear one day you're going to discover a new frog species! How about Litoria christiana? :-)
