I will look next time I am there to see how it is adhered . . in general it was climbing up a tree along with some wild grapes.
Parthenocissus sp. Hard to tell whether it's Virginia creeper (P. quinquefolia) or Thicket creeper (P. vitacea) as they are mainly told apart based on climbing habit, with the Virginia creeper using sticky pads that adhere to surfaces and thicket creepers using tendrils that twist around whatever they're growing on.
