Field Notes

Description:

it was under a wooden pallet i turn around in the forest. It has a white edge, which was slightly curled down. the center was covered with: tooths. (would i say, not pores/spikes or gills). the tooths were grey/blueish. It possibly belongs to a fam (ruffly translated) called "tooth"-fungi (tandzwam), but i dont find the references, which convince me !! If someone has a suggestion. It would be appreciated !!

it doesn't seemed to be a polypore, more likely a mold with tooth. and fake cap (slightly curled edge), the irpex had already a to seperated edge.

thanks gina9210, exactly this fungi,have i searched the last days, for another spotting, but i doubt the id for this spot, it has not this grey/blue colored pores/spines/spikes/tooth-surface. and was smaller than the average "irpex lacteus". Very big thanks, your effort is appreciated. !!

i'm too have no idea. the big patch looks like pores. that's ok , but when you look at the little one , it looks like cliffs,tooths or spines which fused together with a few. i will have to let him id-less until i stuble over some good references again. strange isn't it!!

Alex, President Obama has said he will veto this legislation. The congress and senate have actually pulled it off their vote schedule to re-work it to make it not be bad (maybe -- we'll see). Wikipedia and others went black today anyway to make a strong point to congress to really think about the law.

excactly!! i fear, when this questions is going on in america, it will maybe also come to here. What will you still have, form the internet, when sopa get through. I could : throw away my laptop !! I know : the blackout is to protect, i dislike sopa !!
Small Wonders
The blackout is to protect America (Land of the Free - any irony here?) from internet censorship, it will be over soon - hang in there. We need to stop our government from controlling what we can see and not see on the internet!!
