Description:

Small charcoal grey bird with some white markings around the eye; a pale breast and abdomen; short straight sharp bill; thin dark legs; a distinctive fanned tail; 15 to 25 cm

Habitat:

Tall eucalyptus forest; semi-dense undergrowth; some open patches.

Notes:

Forms a smooth, tapered, tight nest bound with spider webs.
