Pertenece a la familia de los Tenebrionidae.

Belongs to the Tenebrionidae family.

Habitat:

Junto al humedal de "la Parva", en la Cordillera de los Andes.

Next to a wetland, in "la Parva", in Los Andes, near Santiago.

Los encontramos conviviendo con unos sapitos Rhinella rubropunctata http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/8535897
Nos llamó la atención lo similar del tamaño y el patrón de colores, (negros con patas naranjas)

We found them sharing the area with little red-spoted toads (Rhinella rubropunctata) http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/8535897
It came to our attention the similar size and colour pattern they shared, black body, orange legs.

Originally identified as an Callyntra unicosta (might be a synonym)
