Sorry, guess you didn't understand my rather twisted around question. I grew up with Oak inhabiting Mistletoe in the foothills of Mt. Diablo in California. We were always told it was poisonous. My question was is the Desert Mistletoe poisonous? Birds eat the berries? Or hide in the bushy stuff?
Are the berries supposed to be poisonous? I always thought that the mistletoe that grows on Oak in California was poisonous.
