Field Notes

Description:

Eastern Yellow Bellied Racer, got into my minnow trap, non venomous benificial snake who eats bugs, mice, frogs, and other small critters.

Habitat:

Grass and flowers, near a cornfield in Manor Tx.

Notes:

Cute little guy, didn't overly enjoy being handled, but didnt try to bite either. After I did show and tell with the grandkid, and admired him (or her?) for a short time I released em back into the garden some can eat up some scorpions.
