Field Notes

Description:

A beautiful gold, red and black tortoise beetle from the cassidinae subfamily.
I saw a white and small flying insect and though it was a small moth, when I got a closer look I was astonished. Too bad it was shy and only let me take 2 bad shots.

Notes:

Thanks Lech and Jolanta from the Department of Biodiversity and Evolutionary Taxonomy, University of Wroclaw, Poland, for the ID

Can be a local variation of Microctenochira aberrata.
