Crocothemis erythraea

A fresh hatched specimen found in the long grass, where it remains for a while until it's wings are better hardened. This animal let me get rather close. Although it's about 6 years ago , I still recall this as being one of my more interesting dragonfly photo-sessions in the wild ;-) .
