Field Notes

Description:

There was a large group of deer, probably between 10-15 animals, resting and foraging together. They were so close that I could see just how furry their winter coats were. It was easy to find them since there were numerous tracks leading to their location left in the mud.

Habitat:

Marshlands Conservancy woods.

Notes:

There were no bucks, but there were some younger deer/fawns.
