Thanks from me too, Liam. After I wrote the suggestion, I figured I might better check the regions, sigh ;-) Amazing how similar the species look.
A wagtail would be quite a sighting in Mexico. This is a typical Western Palm Warbler.
Great photos! As far as my suggestion goes, I am not so sure that the Grey Wagtails exist in your area. But do some search on Wagtails in your country, it's a Wagtail for sure.
This are some of my first birds photos i never visualize how hard is to get close and have nice Photo.
