The first picture is the last in the series. He got tired of staying still and was making a break to the water

I was trying to research the difference between my male in http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/8551024 and this one. This one was much bigger and missing the "sail" on his back
There are actually only 3 Basilicus species in Costa Rica (out of 120 genus from the Iguanidae family).
I think there are only 3 "classic" basilisks in Costa Rica: Plumifrons (green), Basilicus and Vittatus (brownish). Certainly there are some other around, but these 3 are the most common ones. Do you have some informations about the other ones?
