Description:

Spore print: WhiteCap: Diameter to 50 mm; convex, becoming depressed, often deformed or funnel-shaped; bright pink; finely velvety with cottony fibres; margin irregular or wavy, inturned when young.Gills: Strongly decurrent; widely spaced, often branching near cap margin; pink or white; waxy; margin thick; various lengths.Stem Description: Central; length to 70 mm, diameter to 10 mm; cylindrical, occasionally sinuous; pink near cap fading to yellow at base; dry, smooth.
