Description:

A praying mantis egg that will hatch once the weather gets warm. It is clinging to a twig located in a meadow of small shrubs, mugwort, and cattails.

These are so neat! I found one last year in the garden (none this year though). I have to agree! I couldn't believe there were so many of them out in the meadow just hiding in plain sight! It must be quite the experience to see the baby mantis's hatch
