Description:
Leaves: narrow, lanceolate, 1" at most, alternate, pale green, very short petiole
Stem: long hairs at nodes, sheath encasing place where stem and peduncle meet, mostly reddish, decumbent, may use stolons.
Flower: rosy bud, pale pink when open, spike with many cup-shaped florets, 3-5 stamens, 3 white pistils, 5? petals (may be united), spike somewhat hairy
Habitat:
Suburban lawn, Juniper and spruce (?) nearby
