I tend to disagree but I'm an educator and a snake fan. I think to the average person and at a distance, it's easy to go with the name that everyone seems to know (cottonmouth or moccasin). Some people seem to WANT every snake they see to be dangerous and they won't listen to reason, and I really don't spend a lot of time speaking to those folks. :-)
We seen one of these the other day...They really look a lot like cottonmouths.
