Description:

The grey squirrel has a brownish tint to its grey coat. They have large bushy tails for balance. This squirrel is a scatter-hoarder which means it stores food in small areas for later usage. They breed up to twice per year and give birth to hairless offspring.

Habitat:

The grey squirrel lives in the eastern US as well as southern Canada. They live in dense forests and prefer oak/hardwood forests. They make dens in large branches. Sometimes, they live in abandoned bird nests.
