There are indeed several subspecies of Thoas around. I focused on the 4 spots and the flattened patches on the forewing.
Hi, bayucca! I took a look at the pictures of king swallowtails and saw that the wings shapes were different from the ones I saw. Maybe they are from a different species. What do you think?
It is now called Heraclides thoas, no more Papilio thoas.
