Description:
Small uniquely colored/crested diving duck, which, like the Wood Duck nests in tree cavities, with the young dropping to the ground when they are just a day old. The female is all brown, with a bi colored bill and the male has a sharply defined pattern of black white and rust. During fall migration you often see families together, with male, female and young staying together

There was one male, and at least 4 that were either juveniles or female.
