Notes:

I woke up 1 morning and found this beetle (Rhino beetle?) in front of my porch. I think this beetle came from a coconut tree which belong to one of my neighbor here in Tanjung Minyak. At the time of this photo was taken, the beetle looks kinda weak.

Please check the latin name [Xenus cinereus], its gotten confused with the sandpiper next door=) If the larva is well fed (rotting log or tree) they grow bigger and have a longer horn, so photographs show lots of variation.
