Description:

Venomous lizard that is pink and black banded, adults aren't normally this brightly colored. This is a juvenile that had hatched out this past spring. Oddly enough, I had actually found this same individual earlier that morning, and had gotten good photos of him then so didn't worry too much about getting great ones this second time (these photos were from that afternoon, the second time I found him). I know it's the same individual because they have a unique pattern; no two individuals look the same.

Habitat:

Found crossing the road in the early evening at the base of the Chiricuhua mountains.
