Field Notes

Description:

This is Willow, one of two screech owls at Tamarack Wildlife Center in Saegertown, PA. Willow is a permanent resident at the center due to a wing injury sustained when utility workers unknowingly cut down the branch her nest was built on. She has helped raise numerous screech owl chicks that have been brought to the center and is a crowd favorite at education programs.
