Description:

It is a medium sized sulpher butterfly that has orange,black and yellow coloration to the wings.The butterfly was feeding on wildflowers.The butterfly also has a silver spot that is present on the back hindwings of the butterfly.

Habitat:

Semi-urban habitat in Fort Worth, Texas.

Notes:

It is a sulpher butterfly that is native to the entire North and Cental america.This butterfly feeds on senna plants that are native to the new world and some parts of Asia and Africa.The butterflies like to feed on plants like dandelion and pentas as well as senna and pentas.
