Description:

Yellow Goat's Beard grows in fields, and along roads to a height of eight inches to three feet. It has narrow grass-like leaves which clasp the smooth stem. Earlier in the year it has pale yellow flower heads that are long, pointed bracts. These lengthen and turn backwards as the round see head forms.

Habitat:

Fields and roads.
