Description:

Looks like a chipping sparrow, but would like second opinion, as I think its bigger than the chipping sparrows Ive seen before

Habitat:

residential lawn by the bay

Notes:

During a lull in a storm the birds came out to feed

I didn't realize the immature had this coloration, but the size is exactly right, Liam, thank you!
It does look like a chipping sparrow to me, but I find these guys confusing so I would wait for someone more reliable like Liam to comment!
